Capturing It All

By: Kristen Clifford

Some of the best and worst things about being a Mom is how fast time flies. There are some days that I wish would just come and go, but there are other days when I wish I could just stop time. I just wish I could bottle up my children and remember them at this age forever. Don’t get me wrong there are days when having a 2.5 year old and 2.9 month olds is exhausting and pure craziness, but I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world. To try to capture every moment and memory I take hundreds, and I mean hundreds, of pictures every week. I also try to take lots of videos to capture every moment.

Most of the pictures and videos are un-posed nor planned, I just truly try to capture what is happening at that very moment. The other day while daydreaming, on Pinterest, I came across a great idea on Becky’s Blog. It was actually this document you are suppose to have your child fill out.

I decided that this was a great idea, to not only capture the unscripted, but to also sit your child down and capture their thoughts, here and now. I did just that with my 2.5 year old daughter. So here’s Grace’s interview:

I encourage you to interview your child and in a few years it will be fun to look back and see how things have changed.
